What We Do

Edit or rewrite documents that are in English (including translations from other languages). Provide comments to explain significant changes. Ask questions to clarify points of possible confusion or error in the text.

Basic Fees

Value-Added Smart Editing (VASE):
Correction of grammar and streamlining of sentence flow.
$.03 to .05 (three to five cents) per word, depending on length and complexity of the document.

Rewriting:
Same as VASE plus reorganization of document to enhance logic, consistency, and power of persuasion.
$.05 to .08 (five to eight cents) per word, depending on length and complexity of the document we produce.

In addition, we can write original documents from your outline and/or notes.

Please email us with details about your project for an accurate quote. In some cases, an hourly rate or per-page fee might be more advantageous to both parties than a per-word rate.

Universal Web: Web Page Content

What We Do

Produce web content that is user-friendly for a global audience.

Basic Fees

Edit an existing English-language web page:
$10 per page (up to 250 words)
This fee also applies if you send us a completed translation that is not on the web yet.

Write a new English-language web page:
$40 per page (up to 500 words)
This fee applies when you send us only an English outline, notes, or raw data.

Special Fees

Edit a web page that is longer than 500 words:
Total fee of 3 to 4 cents per word, depending on the content (for example, a page that is 600 words would cost $18 to 24)

Write a web page that is longer than 500 words:
Total fee of 7 to 8 cents per word, depending on the content (for example, a page that is 600 words would cost $42 to 48)

Lengthen a web page:
Total fee of 5 to 6 cents per word
This means that you ask us to increase the length of a web page to more than double the original number of words (for example, expanding a translation that was too short). This fee is a compromise between editing and writing.

Shorten a web page:
Total fee of 5 to 6 cents per word
This means that you ask us to decrease the length of a web page to less than half the original number of words (for example, reducing a translation that was too long). This kind of work is more difficult than basic editing.

Revise web content that we previously edited or wrote for you:
Fee of 2 cents per word for each round of revising
