The Moshiach Awareness Foundation is dedicated to the vision of the Lubavitcher Rebbe: a world in which, by learning to live with an awareness of holiness in everyday life, we make the world ready for increased holiness with the coming of Moshiach.

The Moshiach Awareness Foundation encourages our youth to think and write about Moshiach, in the hope that such activity will help make the world ready for the new era. We are sponsoring creative writing contests to promote this kind of inspiration, and we plan to publish the best entries in book form. We foresee a time when Awaiting the Redemption will become a vibrant genre of literature.

The foundation's chairman, Dr. Yosef Shlomo Porter, resides in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
